Product Details

2015 Lapierre Spicy 527

Ride into a world of all-mountain capability on Lapierre's Spicy 527. Its lightweight aluminum frame gives you 160mm of trail-smoothing travel with a RockShox Pike up front and 150mm from a Fox Float out back. Get rowdy with speed thanks to a slick-shifting Shimano SLX drivetrain with Race Face cranks that give you a wide range of gears for all conditions, and haul it back down with Shimano XT brakes. This nimble trail beast slices through singletrack and steamrolls boulders and roots thanks to Mavic 27.5-inch wheels. It's topped off with Michelin tires, Race Face components, and a RockShox Reverb Stealth dropper post for when the trail drops and it's time to get Spicy.

    Comments:

This is my Second full suspension mountain bike. My previous bike was a Trek EX5. The electronic Suspension is miles a head of the Full float system Trek has. Along with the 5050 pedals this bike has the best handling I've seen and ridden. You can climb hills comfortably without shifting to the lowest possible gear setting. The two accelerometers adjust to the nuture frequency to and reacts to said vibration by placing the correct amount of damping. Beautiful bike worth the $5300.
