The 2016 Goldenberg Heller Wednesday Night Time Trial Series

Wednesday Nights from April 20 - August 31, 2016 *!

Registration: Registration opens @ 5 pm - First rider off @ 6:30 pm

Course Description: An out and back course over the flat Columbia Bottom Conservation Area in
North St. Louis County. This extremely smooth, fast course with very light traffic is the ideal
location to test yourself against the clock. The actual distance for each night’s TT may vary.

Categories: Men Merckx, Women Merckx, Men 1/2/3, Men 4, Men 5, Men Open 40+, Women Open,
Juniors

Prizes: The top 3 point totals in each category at the end of the series win medals. Points will be
awarded each night. Points will be awarded from “bottom up” with an extra point for 1st place. For
example, in a category with 3 riders the first place rider will receive 4 points, 2nd will receive 2
points, and 3rd will receive 1 point.

Registration Fees: $20 for the first race, then $10 thereafter. Junior entries are $20 for the first race and $10 thereafter. Fee includes $3 rider insurance surcharge. Additional same-day races are free and
will be scored as exhibition/unofficial.

What else:

  • Merckx and fixed/single speed categories must comply with USACycling rules for standard mass start road bicycles. Merckx class: No aero gear permitted. Make Eddie Merckx proud of you and don’t use the deep wheels, skinsuit, shoe covers, etc.

  • All participants must wear USACycling approved helmets.

  • The course will be open to traffic and riders must stay to the right.

  • A valid USAC annual license must be presented. USAC annual or 1-day license will beavailable on site. A current year USA Cycling Rider Waiver and Release form must be signed by the participant and, if under 18, by the parent or legal guardian.

* August 31st event: The last event in the series will be our usual TT event; but it will be primarily
our awards ceremony and celebration. Points for the final night do not count toward the series
final.
