The Race: The 2012 edition of the Great Forest Park Bicycle Race brings cyclists off the path and into the streets of St. Louis' signature park. Racing begins Sunday morning on a beautiful, fast, flat circuit near the Jefferson Memorial and Muny Opera. The Great Forest Park Bicycle Race is an awesome opportunity to show case early season fitness, kick start your season or to try your hand at competitive cycling.

Pre-Registration and Number Pick Up- Friday, March 9th from 5 until 8 pm atCourse Description: A flat 1 mile criterium around St. Louis' largest Metropolitan Park. Wide streets and big turns in historic central St. Louis. The wide open course featuring a few turns and a bridge crossing are ideal for racing and spectating.
Pre-Registration: Pre-Registration will be at BikeReg.com - opening January 10th. Race day entry fee is $35 (includes $3 rider insurance surcharge). There is a slight surchagre for online registration.
Race Day Registraion: Registration will be open at 7:30 am. Juniors race day fee is $10 per event. Pre-registration closes March 7th. Riders will be able to enter a second race for $20- race day only. Annual USA Cycling licenses will be available for $60 ($30 for Juniors.) Non-licensed riders can race in the Juniors, Category 5 men's or Category 4 women's events with purchase of a $10 USA Cycling 1-Day License.

The Great Forest Park Bicycle Race - Spring Criterium:
From Downtown St. Louis take Highway 40 West to Clayton Road. Exit and turn right (North) and follow Skinker Blvd. to Lindell Blvd. Take a right on Lindell and follow to the Missouri History Museum/Jefferson Memorial. Parking is available behind the History Museum and across from the freshly renovated Forest Park Visitors Center.
