RACE DAY NOTICES:

  • We WILL have onsite registration. Registration AND Chip pick-up closed at 8:30am.
  • Only the Merckx category has equipment restrictions.

Course: The State Championship course is a 12.5 (20K) out and back on Missouri Highway 94. Senior categories will race 25 miles (40K), Junior categories and select Masters Categories will race 12.5 miles (20K). Both distances will have a turn around mid-distance. The course is primarly flat and skirts the Missouri River bluff, starting and ending within view of the Missouri State Capitol. The Missouri State Championship Criterium will be held August 12th- also in Jefferson City.

Categories: Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers per category. For fields that have three or more participants the winner will receive a Missouri State Championship Jersey. Non-Missouri residents are eligible for placing, but not medals or jerseys. Back by Popular Demand for 2012- Merckx Category Requirements- Aerobars, Aero Helmets, wheels with over 58mm depth- not permitted.

Directions: The Time Trial Course will be located just East of the intersection of US-94 and US-54, north of Jefferson City. Please note, we will NOT be holding registration and awards at the Jefferson City North Pavilion. All registration, Start/Finish and Parking will be held at the ABB Parking lot- the site of the traditional Start/Finish.  From Kansas City and St. Louis- take Highway 70 towards Jefferson City, exit South on Highway 54 to Jefferson City, exit East on US-94. Do not cross the river/bridge and enter the City. The ABB lot is on the north side of the Highway one mile past the exit.

PLEASE NOTE IF YOU ARE COMING IN FROM ST LOUIS ON HWY 94 THE BRIDGE IN PORTLAND, MO IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION. THERE IS A MAJOR DETOUR. BEST TO AVOID THIS ROUTE ALL TOGETHER.

Registration: Registration is $30 per event. $20 for juniors. Fee includes $3 rider insurance surcharge. Pre-registration is available at www.bikereg.com - there will be a slight surcharge for pre-registration. There WILL be on-site registration race-day beginning at 7:00 am. Riders will be started in order of registration. We will publish a start list online 1 week in advance of the race. If you miss your start or suffer a mechanical we can provide a restart at the end of the start list. Please note- we will provide Chip Timing as well as USAC timing. All chips have to be picked up by 8:30 am. First Rider will depart at 9:00 am. Please stay to the right and make way for all emergency vehicles!
