Big Shark Bicycle Company will provide free, for the lifetime of the bicycle, adjustments on any bicycle, adult or juvenile, sold.
(Of course, as with any offer that sounds too good to be true, there is fine print.)
1. The free adjustments policy will only be extended to the original owner of the bicycle.
2. This warranty only covers adjustments that are incurred via reasonable usage.
3. Big Shark Bicycle Company will charge regular repair rates in instances of equipment neglect or abuse.
A. An example of neglect-Storage of the bicycle outdoors to the
the extent that it has evolved into a rusting heap.
B. An example of abuse- Turning the front wheel into a pringle.
4. In the case of neglect or abuse, Big Shark Bicycle Company will continue to perform free adjustments provided the bicycle has been restored to reasonable working order.
5. Big Shark Bicycle Company, although it would be nice, will not warranty or replace for free items that are expected to wear.
A. Tires, Tubes, Cables, Housing, Chains, Chainrings, Brake Pads,
and Suspension Products.
6. All bicycles in need of service should be dropped off at Big Shark and left for a minimum of 24 hours. No appointments are necessary, we do our repair work in the order in which it is received.
7. Free adjustments are inclusive of the points of service itemized in a tune up.
We stand behind everything we sell. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, simply return the item within 2 weeks with proof of purchase and we'll exchange it for a different item, issue store credit, or give you your money back. We do not issue cash refunds.
In a situation in which a product is defective or problematic we will assist you in processing a warranty claim with the manufacturer. All bike sales are final.
We offer free, 3 month layaway. A 15% non-refundable deposit is required. Ninety day "same as cash" financing is also available.
Most orders will be ready after 4:00 pm the same day if received by 11:00 am (Monday through Friday). Orders placed after 11:00 am or on the weekend can be ready the same day if you would kindly alert us by phone that you placed an order. Unless special arrangements are made in advance, orders requesting in-store pickup need to be picked up within 10 days or a 10% restocking fee will be charged.

Note: Orders usually ship within one business day of being placed. Next-day (overnight) orders are usually delivered by the end of the following day.

Sorry, but we do not ship outside of the Continental U.S.
Occasionally, some items are unexpectedly out of stock or unavailable and may be backordered. If this should occur, we will only bill your credit card for merchandise that is actually shipped. The total shipping charge for orders split into multiple shipments will not exceed the amount quoted on original order.
Sometimes manufacturers are not very precise regarding product availablity. In the event of a backorder, we will try to provide you with as much information as is possible regarding potential ship dates or suggest possible alternatives.
We do not take returns on any products from our online Special Order Catalog. We do our best to source and ship many of these eccentric and hard to find pieces, many of which you will never find in any local bike shop. In order to provide this service and depth of product we simply cannot refund money on custom one of a kind widgets. We can in some situations handle warranty work on these problems and are always aviailable to help with compatibility and techincal questions. Please understand our policy and be sure of the specifics of the things you order.
If there’s a problem with something you purchased from us (other than items from the Special Order Catalog), you can either bring it to our store or ship it back. Ship returns via Ground UPS or insured US Mail (we do not accept CODs). We will refund shipping costs only on damaged or incorrect merchandise. Merchandise returned must be in a new condition. (Labor fees are not refundable, i.e., custom built wheels.)
Returns over $100 must have a return authorization number clearly marked on the outside of the package or the item will be refused. A return authorization number can be obtained by phone or e-mail.
